New York Fashion Week

When it comes to spring, most fashion consumers purchase bright, lively colors to enhance the season.  In the spring of 2009, however, designers are looking forward to incorporating darker colors to contrast other luminous shades.  Personally, I love this upcoming trend.  It makes a very simple solid, fit t-shirt, quite fashionable with an eye-popping bottom piece.  Approximately half of the designers in New York Fashion Week, styled baggy clothes and the rest maintained a fitted structure.  It's simple to make a person look slender by wearing outfits that clings lightly onto ones body.  On the other hand, what designers have done in the spring collection is a marvelous masterpiece.  I've observed that if baggy clothes were to be worn then a focus point needs to be made in order to not look wider.  New York Fashion Week has several outfits that are wearable and not too over-the-top.  I will definitely be one of the many consumers of Marc Jacobs and DKNY coming close to spring 2009.
